Removal: Cloth is the first installment of a two part photographic installation pertaining to the effects of removal of key elements related to the body. The photographs originally come from a single-edition book titled Bare Skinned, but have been repurposed for this exhibit. They explore the human body removed from context and clothing to yield bold and, at times, perplexing images. The images should guide the viewer towards a greater appreciation for the landscape-like qualities that the human body has when disassociated from its environment.”
